Fall feast for one: fried green tomatoes (rescued before I ripped up the stringy plants) and a CSA yam.
All cleaned up for hibernation. At least they're unlikely to freeze and crack here.
I spotted this white pumpkin at Ellwood Thompson's, a food co-op in Richmond. Both the pumpkin and mum are Virginia-grown.
Delicious and lovely. I'm on my way over. I wish. Instead I think I'll sew for a bit. Ti-yurd tonight, and teaching make-up lessons tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to come over and sew! I'm planning to undertake some kind of painting/collage piece with snippets of things from our Pacific NW trip. But not tonight. :)
ReplyDeletewhite pumpkins! we have them here, too. at first i thought people were painting their pumpkins, and then saw that they're white all by themselves. what a revelation.
ReplyDeletemiss you, friend!
